Pelosi the power hungry liberal?

The democratic party is in the worse shape in my entire adult life. It used to be it was a real contest who would be my senator or congress person, or more importantly my president. I used to have to read and evaluate each person and what their ideas for this country were. It took time and fortunately I was truly interested. I was basically a Republican but would vote for a democrat that I thought was the better person for the job. Now I have not even heard a new idea from the democrats in so long I would go into shock if I heard one. It is sad because when we had two strong vital parties the whole country was better off.
