What significance it might carry about 'the bull is watching us' ref made after seeing 11th century supernova?

I read a 11th century Chinese history where they witnessed a supernova explosion in the sky & predicted as bad omen for the world for the time being and there's more to come down the centuries, 'the bull is still watching us' !
