What is the job oppertunities for Ph.d in microbiology and immunology ( Infectious disease biology) in reserch

I have completed Master degree in pharmaceutical science with specialization in Pharmacology. I am interested in research in infectious disease and chemotherapy of it. What should I do if I want to get admission in Ph. D in microbiology& immunology (infectious disease biology) in medicine faculty. where can I get jobs after Ph.D.
