Halloween help? Get together turned into party?!?

Hey im really confused of what is happening for halloween because i wanted to have a few friends around but my friend is telling everyone that i am having a party and now everyone wants to come, i just wanted a few friends over for halloween to sit down and watch a horror movie, got trick or treating and the rest. what wou ld you do in my position?
