Treatment for stitches and bruised shin?

Hey I was messin on the trampoline and hit both shins on the bar. right leg has deep gash where you could easily see the bone. but we got stitches and it is bandaged up right now. i take bandage off at 10 o clock tonight. but anyway it is extemely hard to walk and not have it hurt extremely and right now it hurts terribly. i know my shin got extremely bruised but doctor said it was not fractured even tho he did not x-ray it. also the gash is really sore. what kind of things should i be taking and doing to help with pain and help it heal? thanks.
